Solar Games overview

The Solar Games is the industry’s first and only installer competition, tasking teams with building residential solar + storage systems live on the #isnaesna23 expo hall floor. Teams that compete will be judged on installation quality, safety, speed, and other criteria. The winning team takes home a $10,000 cash prize and the title of Solar Games Champion!

NWES at The Solar Games

NWES’ team is one of eight teams out of the nation to compete in The Solar Games. It’s an exciting way to start the year with a competition that will elevate the best practices for solar and storage installations. David Ramirez

David’s dedication to quality installation ensures that the NWES standard shines from every little conduit bend to the overall setup of the array. With five years of experience installing solar from California to Washington, David helps everyone learn and feel like part of the team. He enjoys the fresh PNW air while working and biking around the forests on his mountain bike. Thank you for all your hard work on and off the roof; we’re thrilled you’re going to The Solar Games! 

Michael Rostad

Michael’s attention to detail and drilling into each job allows for the best quality array layout and equipment placement to leave homeowners thrilled about their solar PV systems! While he’s off work at home, he’s raising his son, Owen, with his wife. With seven years of experience installing solar from California to Washington, we greatly value your contributions to the NWES team! 

Cameron Rowley

Cameron brings the energy to solar energy installations and helps our crews run smoothly and efficiently. Cameron excels at adapting to each installation site, whether a remote job or a residential abode. We can trust that he will bring the NWES standard wherever he goes; we’re excited for him to represent our team at The Solar Games with his five years of experience! 

Teemu Karvonen

Preparing all of our jobs for success is Teemu’s game. Boasting seven years of experience in the solar industry bringing quality installation practices for the whole team. Working in solar in Idaho and now as an integral member of the NWES energy team, we know there will be quality and class in each competition at The Solar Games with Teemu as part of the team!
