Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center

Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Redmond works to improve the bodies, minds, and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through equine-assisted therapies and activities. Little Bit is now one of the largest nationally accredited, industry-leading PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International centers and one of the most extensive full-time therapeutic horsemanship programs in the United States. In early 2019, NWES will donate and install a solar PV system with room for expansion when Little Bit’s financial resources allow.


Friends of Youth in Kirkland

Friends of Youth in Kirkland was selected by Solarize Kirkland participants in 2016. Friends of Youth raised additional funds to double the size of the donated solar power system. In 2018, Solarize Issaquah participants selected Friends of Youth Issaquah to receive a donated solar system. Both of these systems were donated by NWES and then expanded by dollars raised by Friends of Youth.


Friendship Adventures

Friendship Adventures in Kirkland is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities by providing social, recreational, and educational activities in a safe, engaging environment. NWES Office Manager Jeramy teaches cooking classes and serves on the Board of Directors. NWES has supported a variety of Friendship events for many years.
