Solar Washington, a statewide nonprofit, sponsors the annual Solar Summit which brings together all aspects of solar including installers, manufacturers, equipment suppliers, utilities, state agencies, project developers, financiers and lenders.
NWES has long been a top-level sponsor of the annual Solar Summit in recent years that brings together stakeholders, including manufacturers, installers, utilities, municipalities, and legislators/policymakers. Along with educators, students, tribal members, advocacy organizations, nonprofits, distributors, engineers, financial lenders, and consultants to share ideas and plans, the future of solar in Washington state is looking brighter than ever!
Washington Solar Energy Industries Association (WASEIA) is a professional trade association established to be a unified voice for the common business interests of its members related to public policy, legislation, and governmental relations. WASEIA educates legislators and regulators while promoting a general understanding of the impacts of solar energy policies inside our state. They were previously known as Solar Installers of Washington.

North Shore Utility District (2020) in Kenmore
Solarize Bellevue (2015) in partnership with Pacific NW Pollution Prevention Resource Center (PPRC) and the City of Bellevue, resulting in 48 systems installed.
Solarize Kirkland (2015, 2016), in partnership with Pacific NW Pollution Prevention Resource Center (PPRC) and the City of Kirkland, resulted in 41 systems installed.
Solarize Shoreline (2017), in partnership with the City of Shoreline, Shoreline Community College, Shoreline Solar Project, resulted in 16 systems installed.
Solarize Issaquah (2018), in partnership with the City of Issaquah Office of Sustainability, resulted in 17 systems installed.

Solarize Washington, sponsored by Spark Northwest, uses a neighborhood-by-neighborhood approach to community-scale solar energy. In the Solarize model, residents create an educational campaign for neighbors to go solar together. A volunteer committee selects a solar installer, and that contractor gives participants a group purchase discount.
